Their average height is from 20 inches to 30 inches, and sometimes even more. A Great Dane, named Zeus made a record for the tallest dog by having 44 inches in height. But their life longevity is very low. They live only for 6 to 8 years. Zeus died at the age of 5.

2. Neapolitan Mastiff

The average height of a Neapolitan Mastiff is from 26-31 inches with 130-155 pounds weight. Females are usually a little smaller than the male Neapolitan Mastiff and even their weight is also lighter than males. It varies from 110-130 pounds. They prove to be an ideal guard by being fearless and protective towards their family and home.

3. Scottish Deerhound

Scottish Deerhound is famous for its height and also for easily chasing down its prey. Apart from being larger, they are heavier too than Greyhounds. Their maximum height is 32 inches and can gain up to 110 pounds.
